Catholic Medical Center PCPs are in network. Out of network notices sent in error

We recently sent members a letter in error stating that Catholic Medical Center was no longer in their plan’s network. This is incorrect. Catholic Medical Center is still in their plan’s network. These letters were triggered by mistake when we updated the Tax ID for Catholic Medical Center due to their acquisition by Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). There are no known claim impacts resulting from this issue. We’re sorry for this error and the confusion it caused.

We have sent an apology letter to our impacted members and have changed their PCPs back to Catholic Medical Center. We have also issued them new ID cards.
